Silver Award Winning Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie
Traditional pies have a layer of shortcrust pastry underneath and on top of the pie filling. For our award winning pies we have developed the idea to use handmade all butter shortcrust pastry base then top the pie with a handmade all butter flaky pastry to give a contrast of textures. Our pies are filled with large, tender pieces of chicken thighs, mushrooms and leeks in a creamy mustard sauce with fresh thyme. These small pies generously feed two people.
